What is the best way to find inexpensive vacations in europe?

- The cheapest way to travel in Europe is with a bicycle, a tent and a cooking stove, buying all food in supermarkets and using the bike to get around. It will cost you about 30 USD per day and per person. But if you want a package deal, I'm sorry I cannot help you. I prefer independent travel, organising all of the trip myself. This way I get to see and do exactly what I want.
- I've had good luck with investing a little money into a good travel book and using it's tips and tricks to find inexpensive places to stay, ways to get around, and means of transportation. I've been using Lonely Planet's Europe on a Shoestring and found it extremely helpful! There are great maps, and destination guides for people on a budget. as far as if you're looking for an all inclusive package that's no help... but if you want a little more freedom in your planning, i think it's a good alternitive.
- Here is an excellent site with some wonderful options for you.
