Has anyone ever been to a Sandals resort for either their honeymoon or just a vacation?

Did you have fun? Was it gorgeous? Would you recommend it? Was it too pricey? Was there enough to do? What did you do when you were there? Any other info you have would be great, thanks!

Yes. I went to Sandals in the Bahamas for my honeymoon. They were very nice and everything was really good. That was 6 years ago, so I am not sure how things may have changed. If you go to the Bahamas, you MUST do the dolphin swim experience at a lagoon by the Atlantis. Also, the mid night massage on thre dock was great and worth the money.It was really awesome experience. The straw market is OK, but all the vendors have the same items, so once you see somehting you want, just buy it and get out of there. They don't let you walk by without trying to get you to spend $$. Skip the private island during the day, it is a bit buggy. Sign up for snorkeling as soon as you get there. make sure you do it at least twice. The spots fill up quick.
i stayed at SANDALS MONTEGO BAY we stayed in the Bay Roc Ultra Luxury Honeymoon Beachfront Villa it was a larger upgrade put it oh so payed off we had a mini bar stocked and butler service when ever we wanted and made it a plus vs getting a regular room with no amenities we also had a lovely beach view that was so nice at night when we booked we booked on there web site and had a package all put up together with air fair an everything for the two of us it was just under 6,000.00 for 7 nights it isn't bad when you think every restaurant there all meals are paid for because if you think most meals you eat there are 25.00-80.00 a person the food was wonderful. for a regular vacation i say don't go it is way to romantic and to much but if you want to go with someone you love for a special occasion i say go but keep in mind other then hotel food and flight i had to pay all the extras like golf massages ec. with that i think i paid 1,500.00 for the two of us along with special dives and what not
Looked into it but chose fiji instead... it looked way better.
